Chelyabinsk: Elekta accelerator repair

From August 5 to 7, 2024, senior service engineer Igor Teplyakov in Chelyabinsk, using an Elekta Synergy linear accelerator, diagnosed a wedge error; the wedge control board failed. An engineering solution has been invented that allows the linear accelerator to work with treatment methods without a wedge.
