Sochi: repair of the vacuum system of the Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator

From July 20 to July 31, 2026, service engineer Sergei Chuvakhin in Sochi, in accordance with the contract on the Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator, carried out diagnostics using a helium leak detector and repaired the vacuum system: replaced the RF output window, the ion pump on the target side and the corrugated siphon. The vacuum system was also degassed, together with a representative of the dispensary, the parameters of the radiation beam for photon and electron energies were adjusted, and the internal circuit of the cooling system was repaired.
