Tula: diagnostics and repair of two Elekta linear accelerators

From June 30 to July 1, 2025 in Tula, service engineers Alexander Ivanov and Konstantin Fukalov, in accordance with a new contract on the Elekta Synergy linear accelerator, diagnosed Hump Error, Dose Rate Mon, 2T and 2R Err errors and carried out repairs by adjusting the resonant frequency of the magnetron and the AFC control system, optimized the electron gun current for the energy of photons 6, 8 and 10 MV. On the Elekta Infinity linear accelerator, the rotor and brushes of the electric motor for vertical movement of the patient table were replaced.
