Syktyvkar: repair and maintenance of Elekta linear accelerator

From February 16 to 21, 2026, service engineers Ilya Shchetkin and Pavel Fukalov in Syktyvkar, under a contract on the Elekta Precise linear accelerator, diagnosed the absence of radiation and identified a short circuit in the deflection magnet coils due to a leak in the internal circuit cooling system. The Elekta Synergy linear accelerator was repaired, faulty parts were replaced, and scheduled scheduled maintenance (6- and 12-month intervals) was carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s protocol.
