Kirov: Diagnostics and Repair of Three Elekta Linear Accelerators

From October 5 to 9, 2026, service engineers Vladimir Sidorychev and Ilya Shchetkin performed diagnostics and repairs on three linear accelerators in Kirov under the service contract. On an Elekta Infinity, they cleaned the guides and leaves on the Y2 side, replaced the control board in the right-hand PSS patient table control panel, and calibrated the Agility Head optical system. On an Elekta Synergy, they eliminated a short circuit on the bending magnet power supply bus caused by a loose fastener on the water-cooling manifold (Bend Mag V error) and retrained the lookup tables for 6 MV. On another Elekta Infinity, they identified a broken electron gun filament and a faulty diaphragm control board.
