Kursk: Diagnostics, Repair and Maintenance of an Elekta Synergy Linear Accelerator

From October 12 to 16, 2026, service engineer Ilya Shchetkin performed diagnostics and repairs on an Elekta Synergy linear accelerator in Kursk under the service contract. He replaced the cable for the XVI imaging panel centre-position limit switch, as well as major components of the FKP control panel, Z drive gear box and XVI MK6 R5.0.4 Control System computer. He also completed six-month scheduled maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer’s protocol.
