St. Petersburg: fault diagnosis of the Elekta linear accelerator

On February 9 and 10, 2026, service engineer Sergei Chuvakhin in St. Petersburg, in accordance with the contract, carried out diagnostics on the Elekta Compact linear accelerator and identified a faulty power supply of the ion pump, due to a malfunction in the accelerator section. The accelerating section was dismantled for further diagnostics and repairs under production conditions.
