Stavropol: repair of Elekta accelerators and maintenance of the Lap Laser laser system

From July 14 to July 18, 2025, service engineers Konstantin Lundin and Alexander Ivanov in Stavropol, on one Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator, repaired the protective shutter of panel XVI and eliminated contact bounce; on the second Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator, they diagnosed the absence of radiation; the thyratron control board needed to be replaced. They also carried out scheduled maintenance of the Laser patient positioning system during topometric preparation and conducting radiation therapy sessions “Lap Laser”, in the amount of 2 (two) DORADO laser systems with the CARINAnav control system.
